It’s the season where everything feels lighter, brighter and full of possibility. And in the kitchen, that shift shows up too. We start reaching for recipes that feel refreshing, colourful and simple to pull together.

One of our favourite spring go‑tos? A Buffalo Milk Yogurt Parfait.

Made with our Natural Buffalo Milk Yogurt, it’s the perfect balance of creamy, tangy and naturally rich, a base that elevates even the simplest ingredients. Whether you’re building a breakfast, a mid‑morning snack or a light dessert, this parfait brings a little spring sunshine to every spoonful.

Ingredients

For the parfait layers:
  • 1 cup Quindanning Buffalo Natural Yogurt

  • 1 cup fresh seasonal fruit (strawberries, blueberries, peaches or a mix)

  • ½ cup granola or toasted muesli

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • Zest of ½ lemon (optional)

  • A few mint leaves for serving (optional)

For a simple fruit compote (optional):
  • 1 cup chopped fruit (berries or stone fruit work best)

  • 1 tbsp water

  • 1 tsp honey

Method

  1. Prepare the fruit

Wash and slice your chosen spring fruit. If you prefer a softer, jammy layer, make a quick compote by adding fruit, water and honey to a small saucepan. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until glossy and softened. Cool completely.

  1. Layer the yogurt

Spoon a generous layer of Quindanning Buffalo Natural Yogurt into the base of your glass or jar. The richness of buffalo milk gives you a beautifully thick, creamy start.

  1. Add fruit

Layer fresh fruit or cooled compote over the yogurt. Add a little lemon zest if you want extra brightness.

  1. Add crunch

Sprinkle granola or toasted muesli over the fruit. This gives the parfait texture and balance.

  1. Repeat the layers

Add another layer of yogurt, fruit and granola until your glass is full.

  1. Finish with sweetness

Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the top. Add mint leaves if you’d like a fresh finish.

  1. Serve immediately

Enjoy as a fresh spring breakfast, a mid‑morning treat or a simple dessert that feels a little bit special.
